Bidding
  • Before each cricket match, sweep participants will be allocated $100.
  • Before each test match, the sweep participants will gather to bid $$ on players
  • The sweep participant that bids the most $$ on a player, purchases that player for the next test match
  • The bidding process will be tracked through a google docs spreadsheet
  • Once a bid has been placed it can not be removed or reduced.
  • All bids must be in round numbers. No cents here please
  • A bid must be at least $1 more then the previous bid.
  • Any $$ not spent on one match will be carried over to the following match.
Example: If a player is allocated $100 but only spends $70 on 2 players, then the next match they will now have $130 to spend
  • Any player that is purchased will become available again in the next match
  • If the player you purchased is not in the final 11 players then you automatically get the player that replaced the one you purchased.
  • To help even the playing field a little over the course of the series. Participants that are towards the bottom end of the leader board will receive an injection of $$ at the end of each test$
  • Bonus points (25) will be awarded to the participant with the most points at the end of a test match "winning a test"
