How to play
The ashes sweep is played over 5 matches between Australia and England.
The winner of the sweep is the participant with the most points after the final game in January
Adelaide - 16th - 20th of December 2021
MCG - 26th - 30th of December 2021
SCG - 5th - 9th of January 2022
TBC - 14th - 18th of January 2022
Bidding
- Before each cricket match, sweep participants will be allocated $100.
- Before each test match, the sweep participants will gather to bid $$ on players
- The sweep participant that bids the most $$ on a player, purchases that player for the next test match
- Once a bid has been placed it can not be removed or reduced.
- All bids must be in round numbers. No cents here please
- A bid must be at least $1 more then the previous bid.
- A loyalty bonus of $5 is available to participants for choosing the same player in consecutive test matches

Any $$ not spent on one match will be carried over to the following match.
Example: If a player is allocated $100 but only spends $70 on 2 players, then the next match they will now have $130 to spend - Any player that is purchased will become available again in the next match
- If the player you purchased is not in the final 11 players then you automatically get the player that replaced the one you purchased.
- To help even the playing field a little over the course of the series. Participants that are towards the bottom end of the leader board will receive an injection of $$ at the end of each test$
- Bonus points (25) will be awarded to the participant with the most points at the end of a test match "winning a test"
Scoring
- Players score points from making runs and getting wickets. There are bonus points available to players (see the scoring table below)

* A player is deemed Not out if they make there way out to the pitch and do not go out before the end of the innings. There can be 0, 1 or 2 players not out in each innings A player that does not take the field to be bat will not be classified as Not out
^ For every 25 runs a player scores they get a bonus 5 points.
Example: If a player scores 27 runs they will get an extra 5 points. If they score 65 they will get a bonus 10 points etc
